Notes: TowerTris is the result of me experimenting with trigonometry to create the illusion of a 3D ring using only 2D elements.
Once I had created the 3D effect, I built a simple Tetris game around this effect. I based my Tetris engine on the Gameboy Tetris design, as I had seen this version rate highly among Tetris fans, but this seemed to annoy fans of the more modern versions of Tetris which include the ability to rotate and move your block after it's landed.
This isn't the best version of Tetris out there, and the tower's width combined with the relatively short playfield height make it one of the more challenging versions available.
Give it a try if you'd like a new twist to an old favorite, and when your game is over, you can see the tower you built from all the completed lines that you cleared.
